My yoga journey began in 2010 as a way to deal with the stress and anxiety I experienced throughout college. I stumbled upon a Baptiste-inspired studio and instantly became hooked. I thrived in the heated environment and the rigorous practice challenged my mind and body in ways I never knew possible. Through the practice of yoga, I have learned how to welcome personal growth, embrace moving out of my comfort zone, and phase out negative self-talk and limiting beliefs. My yoga practice allows me to feel fully integrated and present in my body. Through witnessing my mat as my mirror, I am able to develop a deeper perspective of how I show up in all areas of my life. As a Yoga Instructor, I teach to empower students to reclaim their full potential and awaken to new possibilities.
I completed my 200 hour Vinyasa yoga training with Seacoast Power Yoga in 2016 and an additional 200 hours of training through Level 1, Level 2, and Art of Assisting with the Baptiste Institute. I also completed my SUP teaching training in 2019 with Sarah Graham of Portland Paddle Co. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the wisdom my teachers have shared with me over the years.
